Terms and Conditions for Voice Talent Applicants
1. Eligibility and Credentials
Applicants must meet the requirements for their selected talent type.
Providing false credentials or misrepresenting your experience will result in permanent removal from eligibility to list on Screen Hatch.
2. Professional Standards
All approved voice talent must maintain high-quality standards, including:
Delivering professional-grade audio (minimum requirements: WAV or MP3 format, 320 kbps).
Using a professional microphone setup (e.g., Shure SM7B, Audio-Technica AT2020, Rode NT1-A, or equivalent).
3. Availability and Job Assignments
Job opportunities will be sent via email to all eligible talent for open projects.
Talent must respond within 24 hours of receiving the job opportunity to confirm availability.
If selected by a client, talent has 24 hours to accept the job and begin work.
4. Payment Structure
Standard talent is paid $25/hour, and premier voices are paid $100/hour.
Payment is issued upon successful delivery and acceptance of the completed audio file.
5. Audio Delivery Requirements
Final recordings must meet professional standards and be submitted in WAV format (preferred) or MP3 format.
Files must be delivered by the agreed deadline to receive payment.
6. Non-Compliance
Failure to meet deadlines, deliver high-quality work, or comply with job requirements may result in removal from the talent pool.
7. Confidentiality
All scripts provided to talent are confidential and must not be shared, distributed, or used for any purpose outside of Screen Hatch projects.
8. Termination of Agreement
Screen Hatch reserves the right to remove talent from the platform at any time for non-compliance, poor performance, or other valid reasons.
9. Updates to Terms and Conditions
Screen Hatch reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Talent will be notified of significant changes via email.
Terms and Conditions for Screenwriters Submitting Audioplays
Ownership and Eligibility
By submitting your screenplay, you confirm that you own the rights to the work or have the legal authority to grant permissions for its use.
Any misrepresentation of ownership or rights will result in rejection of the submission and potential legal consequences.
Grant of Rights
By submitting your screenplay for audioplay conversion, you grant Screen Hatch a non-exclusive license to:
Convert your screenplay into an audioplay.
Distribute the audioplay on The Hatch platform and related services.
Use the audioplay for promotional, marketing, and monetization purposes, including but not limited to advertisements and subscription services.
Submission Standards
All submitted screenplays must be professionally formatted and provided in PDF format.
Screenplays exceeding 90 pages may incur additional fees at the rate specified on our pricing page.
Confidentiality
All screenplays submitted to Screen Hatch will be treated as confidential.
Scripts will only be shared with necessary personnel (e.g., voice talent, editors) under strict confidentiality agreements.
Revenue and Compensation
Screen Hatch reserves the right to monetize audioplays through advertisements, memberships, and other revenue streams.
As a screenwriter, you retain ownership of your original screenplay but agree that Screen Hatch will not pay royalties or additional compensation beyond the agreed-upon conversion fee unless specified in a separate written agreement.
Submission Review Process
Submissions will be reviewed for quality and eligibility within 7–10 business days.
Screenplays that do not meet quality or formatting standards may be rejected or require resubmission.
Audio Delivery and Usage
Converted audioplays will be added to The Hatch platform for access by members, producers, and industry professionals.
Analytics, such as listens and interactions, will be tracked and used for platform improvement and marketing.
Non-Compliance
Submissions found to violate any of the above terms (e.g., plagiarism, misrepresentation of ownership) will be immediately removed, and the submitter may be banned from future participation.
Updates to Terms and Conditions
Screen Hatch reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Significant updates will be communicated to screenwriters via email or posted on our website.
Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. However, any audioplays already published on The Hatch will remain available unless otherwise agreed upon.
